When Shipping Hits The Fans

Hope everyone has been having a good end of summer! We just got back from the final conventions spreading awareness of The Massive-Verse Fighting Card Game. If we saw you at places such as San Diego Comic-Con, GenCon or PAX West, thank you for stopping by our booths! It’s been MASSIVELY exciting to see what people think so far of the game…

We held some small preview events at these cons showing off the prototype versions of some of the characters and people seem to really enjoy the art and how well the game flows with the characters.

The games have been fully printed and will soon be on their way over!

Unfortunately we recently found out there is some shipping delays and the game will be heading over here a bit later than expected. We are now expecting to have the games to you all by mid December. Dealing with shipping barges can be a pain sometimes and this is one of those situations we don’t have any control over. It’s annoying but it could have been worse. After all, who said superheroing would be easy?

Many people have emailed us about their shipping costs and questions concerning their pledges. Hopefully we were able to get back to you. If you haven’t heard back, please don’t be afraid to reach out once again as it may have gotten lost in all of the hustle and bustle of events and things. We’ll be getting to more of the customer service emails this week!

Thank you for all your patience with us as we are a small indie studio with a very limited staff. We try to get back to everyone that we possibly can.

For those that missed it, Kyle Higgins went up against Ryan Parrott in the card game playing as their respective characters they created! Who won? Well, I won’t spoil it, but apparently the match is canon*!

We hope that in addition to the coming release of the card game that everyone is also excited for the finale of The Catalyst War hitting soon in Radiant Black #30! I know I can’t wait myself! Despite the comic going on a hiatus till Feb, you’ll at least have all the art and action of our game to keep you occupied to see what comes next from the Massive-Verse… and maybe new ideas for more characters to bring into the cards!

Printing updates and shipping price concerns

Hi everyone!

It’s been a very busy time for us making sure the game is ready for you all this fall. Final batches are currently undergoing printing and we’ll soon have them out on the seas en route to all of you wonderful supporters. We can’t wait for all of you to experience these sets!

That being said, we know several of you have been experiencing some issues with shipping costs in backerkit. 
It has taken us a bit but we’ve been looking into the situation. 
Unfortunately shipping costs do tend to fluctuate and change from time to time, especially when it comes to international shipping. The prices we originally quoted on our kickstarter were from the current timeframe when we were launching the campaign and were estimates. We cannot control how much shipping rates fluctuate, and unlike other larger tabletop companies we can’t subsidize the costs. These are the best prices we can get at this current time.

There have been a few errors with some backers being charged far more than what they should. We’ve been going through and issuing credit to those affected by this as we verify the problems.

In addition, if you ordered only the Massive-Verse Fighting Card Game box, are in the US, and are being charged over $14 for shipping please reach out and we can correct it.

We know we have been slow to respond. We are a small team but are dedicated to making sure we deliver the best product we can to all of you. We are definitely paying attention to all comments and hope to have more updates for you as the game finishes up production.

BackerKit Surveys Launching
In addition, BackerKit surveys will begin sending in the coming days. You will get a link in your email. We will start these surveys with a small smoke screen and then release the rest of the surveys from there. You will be able to make changes to your order up to the end of the summer.

When does the game release?
Our target release date is currently September 25th. We will keep you up to date as this may change due to shipping realities.

Hello Backers, 

Files at the Printer
We have delivered all final files for the game to the printer. All files are proofed and we will be receiving the production sample in a few weeks. I'll post a video showing you the product when it arrives! After we approve that sample, the mass production will begin.

Pre-order Store
We have opened the Backer Kit pre-order store for new backers. You can find the link on the Kickstarter page if you'd like to share!

BackerKit Surveys
 Regarding your survey links for your pledge, those are not available yet. We will send out the survey link later in the summer so we can present accurate shipping rates. At that time, you will able to add-on any additional items you may like.
